FALLEN
What is padel?
Padel is similar to tennis and squash, right? Yes, that's right, but it's a completely new experience! Not only is a padel court smaller than a tennis court (20 by 10 meters). Padel also has no walls (like squash) but a fence of glass and fencing.
Expect the unexpected
This means that the ball goes differently than you expect every time. In the cage, you have to be prepared for anything. Bring your game back to life unexpectedly with a second chance using the walls. Or surprise your opponents with a sprint outside to play the ball back. Yes, it is really allowed. It really leads to spectacular rallies.
In addition, you always play padel with four people. This often results in surprising new friendships.
Fastest growing sport in the Netherlands
Padel is growing rapidly in the Netherlands. More and more people are discovering how much fun padel is and are becoming addicted. At the moment, there are 436 locations where padel can be played. GLTC Be Quick is one of them. With three brand new padel courts, built in 2024, you can now also work up a sweat in the heart of Gouda.
