BAR SERVICE RULES

Rules and instructions

Running a bar comes with a lot of responsibility. You are there on behalf of the club and will probably be asked to serve alcohol during your bar shift. In order to make your shift as pleasant as possible, we think it is important to inform you in advance about important rules and instructions for performing the bar shift.

Alcohol and Responsible Alcohol Serving Instruction

Serving alcohol is one of the things that makes bar duty a big responsibility. It is of great importance that young people under the age of eighteen absolutely cannot get alcohol in our clubhouse. In addition, we want to prevent alcohol abuse and driving under the influence of visitors to our tennis park.

If you are behind the bar with us, it is a requirement of the Dutch Alcohol and Catering Act that you have a certificate of Instruction Responsible Alcohol Serving (IVA). In order to obtain the certificate, the NOC*NSF has developed the website www.nocnsf.nl/iva in collaboration with the sports associations.

The texts and videos on this website of the NOC*NSF will enable you to serve alcohol in a responsible manner in our clubhouse. When you have seen and read the texts and videos, you will be able to take the test. By obtaining the certificate, you will become a qualified bar volunteer. We would like to receive your certificate at [email protected].
