New title
Wintercompetitie
In addition to the regular KNLTB competition, GLTC Be Quick also organizes a winter competition. The competition is indoor and takes place on Saturdays and Sundays in the adjacent hall of our sports park. Read more about how to register for this competition here.
How does the winter competition work?
There are two (internal) winter competitions in the hall, mainly for the fun and of course also for the (mutual) honor. They are not official KNLTB competitions, so it does not affect your playing strength. To keep it competitive, a ranking is made.
The Saturday competition
The Saturday competition takes place between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM.
The Sunday competition
Everyone can participate. Create your team with friends, colleagues or buddies from another club. You do not have to be a member of Be Quick to form a team or participate. The age indication for participation is 16 .
After your team has registered, a division of a match block will be made. A match block is played on two courts, on which three games are played per court. The three games per court consist of two mixes (M1 & V1 and M2 & V2), then a HD and DD (M1 & M2 and V1 & V2) and then the exchanged mixes (M2 & V1 and M1 & V2).
There are currently three pools:
- Pool A - Men (playing level indication): 3-6 Pool B - Mixed (playing level indication): 3-6 Pool C - Mixed (playing level indication): 6-9
How do I register?
Participating is simple. Form a team of four players and sign up. You can sign up by contacting [email protected]. This year, the organization is in the hands of:
- For Saturday: Pim Zandee and Piet Weiland*For Sunday: Marloes Weerts and Carolien van der Werf.
We thank Jean-Paul and Suzanne for the years in which they organised the competition.
You will then automatically be assigned to play a match block every two to four weeks. As soon as you have been assigned and started, the match schedules and standings will follow.
How much does it cost?
The costs to participate amount to approximately EUR 200.00 per team per (winter) season. For this you play with your team approximately six times two hours on two courts. Balls are provided.
Will we see you in the hall? Sign up!
